Needless to say I am one in this group of 50 and older, and believe living to be over thirty-nine(as I kiddingly
tell my granddaughter)is something to be proud of and excited about especially if you've taken care of your self.
Some
of us have not been good to ourselves for many reasons and are not here today which is unfortunate. Those who
are surviver have a number of things in common; one of those things is you can usually do anything you want
because you are your own person. Many have gone through the over the hill part of their lives and found that turning
forty plus wasn't as bad as thought.
Many women finally realized getting over that hill was easier
than getting over the heel, and during those years our children grew up(I jokingly tell people my children are "grown
and gone").Along with maturity came lifestyle changes (both good and bad), independence, divorces, and even some deaths, and
most of us lived through it all.
Those years were truly times for learning lessons of life including how to better take care of our selves. The
information available to us was not available to our parents and unfortunately many of them didn't live to be the
ages we are now because they didn't know how to take care of themselves as well.
Is there someone you feel
epitimizes the 3F's, family member, best friend, teacher, pastor etc. Tell us why you feel should be recognized, and allow
us to recognized them. By the way men like flowers(knowing they are appreciated) COME ON, LET'S
CELEBRATE!!!!! Also if you'd like a response please type your e-mail address in your message because
this format does not automatically include it.
